Microsoft announced Alan Wake release date
After a long wait, Alan Wake was at last given a release date, being announced at the Microsoft X10 Event in San Francisco.
Alan Wake will be available in the United States on May 18 and in Europe on the 21, exclusively for Xbox 360, five years later since it was announced by Remedy and 1 months after the PC version was delayed. The game will be available in two versions. A normal one which is cost $60 and another one, limited, that will cost $80.
According to gamespot.com, this is the first game created by Remedy after Max Payne 2 and follows the adventures of writer Alan wake, after he moves to a small town called Bright Fall.
After it was initially announced in 2005, for PC and next-generation consoles, the production studio changed it’s market target. While consoles have become current-generation and have proven themselves to be a more profitable business model. After a few years and a series of sporadic images and video materials whici showed how well the game runs on an Intel Core 2 Quad, Remedy announced that Alan Wale will become 100% Xbox 360.
